What is a cooling-off period?
A cooling-off period is a period of time that you can cancel the purchase of a service or goods without being charged.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, any services or goods that are sold at a distance or off-premises are entitled to a minimum 14-day cooling-off period. During this cooling-off period, you're able to cancel your order at any time.
The cooling-off period will start from the moment you place an order - whether written or verbal. We legally cannot deliver your car without 14 calendar days of placing your order.
Why do cooling-off periods exist?
The cooling-off person is to give the customer (you) a period of time to assess and investigate whether the product is right for you. During the 14 calendar days of the cooling-off period, it is recommended that you make sure that you're fully comfortable with the product and, the initial rental, monthly rentals and associated costs.
What if I cancel during the cooling-off period?
Should you cancel your agreement during the 14-day cooling-off period, you will receive a full refund of your processing fee.
